The Lottery Draw

In order to accomodate everybody here is a brief explanation of how the UK National lottery is drawn;

Six Winning Balls are drawn within the main draw and the winner of the jackpot must match all six. The balls range from numbers 1 to 49. A "Bonus Ball" comes into play for those who have matched 5 out of the six main balls, and to match the "seventh & bonus ball" to an existing match of 5 delivers a substantially higher prize than that of 5 of the main balls alone.

The Bonus Ball does not apply to any other winning combination that has already been mentioned.

The lowest prize on offer is to match three of the main balls and is a fixed prize of £10.

The highest prize varies on a weekly basis and is shared out equally to as many people as have matched all 6 main balls.
