Ranging is a very useful tool when you have too many numbers to choose from and wish to narrow down your selection to allow you to meet your budget.
Within the website we have included two different "Ball number" range tables, these have seperate functions and shouldn't be confused.
1. For the entire lottery history and 2. for the last 6 months, created on a rolling basis; i.e. as one number becomes oler than 6 months old it is replaced with the most recent lotto draw number.
Whilst the overall results are good to keep in mind for a fixed selection (i.e. the same number selection for several weeks or more), the table below allows a narrower band of numbers for selection and is what we use when considering using different winning numbers each week.

Below is a table of the last 10 UK National Lottery Draws. You will note how the winning numbers have been coloured to highlight any trends within our selected ranging.
The 3 in 10 rule is one of the most fascinating I have come across whilst studying the past lottery results and the most important when it comes to selecting your Lotto winning numbers. The number of ocassions that the 6 main lotto numbers drawn contain 3 numbers within a 10 number range is around 80% of the time. A 10 number range consists of 3 numbers between for example 10-19 (not 10-20), 11-20, 12-21 etc.
The 3 in 10 column highlights in which Lotto Draws this has recently occurred. 4 in 10's happen approximately 20% of the time, 5 in 10's around once every 6 months (11 times in the UK Lottery history), and the very rare 6 in 10 which has ocurred once during the entire history of the UK Lottery. (Draw Number 1336 - Oct 2008).
